Oulu Days

Oulu Days is a festival for all Oulu residents, whose programme is shaped annually in cooperation with various actors. Associations, individuals, agencies, institutions and companies are all involved. Community has been the driving force behind Oulu Days since 1962. The event is held on the first Saturday in September and runs for three days from Friday to Sunday. The festival's stage is the whole city and the programme is spread out from the streets of the city centre to the neighbourhoods. Oulu Days is an open day in Oulu, where everyone can participate as a maker or as an experience. The festival is a platform for a balanced mix of traditional and innovative urban culture.
